Student Insurance

International Students

International students are required to purchase the health insurance offered at Seattle University specifically for international students, unless the student can provide proof of insurance under a comparable plan.  For details about the international student plan, please go to http://www.uhcsr.com/seattleu, or drop by the International Student Center.

Domestic Insurance Options

We recommend that you carry health insurance while a student at Seattle University School of Law.

Our best advice is that, if possible, you continue the plan under which you are currently covered. If you are not presently covered by a plan, or wish to discontinue the one you have and choose another, you may enroll in an individual plan through United Healthcare.

Insurance plans may be purchased through United Healthcare or the State of Washington.

If the above plans do not suit your needs, feel free to research other health insurance options.

The University Health Center provides a variety of primary care and special services. All Seattle University students have access to the University Health Center.
