| Shawn Lipton | |

Shawn is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law. Prior to attending law school, he worked and studied in Taiwan and traveled extensively throughout North and South East Asia. Before joining CPD, he was the director of Continuing Legal Education for the law school and prior to that worked as a business development manager in the dotcom world. Shawn is a certified master coach. He speaks Mandarin Chinese fluently and is proficient in Spanish. |

Stacey received undergraduate degrees in art and art history from University of Washington. She received her J.D. from University of Washington School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of Operations and Development on the Pacific Rim Law & Policy Journal. Prior to law school, she taught English in Korea and worked as a paralegal at a Seattle-area law firm. For the last five years she has been a public defender in Seattle. While at The Defender Association, Stacey worked in criminal, dependency and Becca Bill litigation. |

Erin was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She received her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Washington and her J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law where she was active in mock trial. Over the past several years Erin has worked in a number of small NW firms in both criminal and civil practice. In addition to private practice, she has worked in the public sector as a judicial clerk and public defender. Erin’s practice experience includes felony trial work, civil mental health commitment defense, and wage class action plaintiff’s work. |

Laura comes to CPD from Safeco Corporation where she was Chief Regulatory and Compliance Officer, Vice President and Associate General Counsel, and managed the legal, compliance and regulator relations staffs of the Safeco insurance companies. Prior to joining Safeco, Laura was a partner and trial lawyer at the Carney Badley Spellman firm in Seattle. Laura is a graduate of Georgetown University Law School and Northwestern University. She lives in Seattle and has a daughter in high school and a son in middle school. |

Emily is an Illinois native, and graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. During her time at UIUC, she worked as a House Manager at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts. She joined CPD after relocating to Seattle in the summer of 2007. She also does free-lance photography work. |
