Moot Court

The Moot Court Board at the Seattle University School of Law organizes and hosts all Moot Court events at the law school. Board membership is selected on the basis of superior leadership, organizational skills, and Moot Court participation. Membership is limited to forty members with a minimum of five students from each of the three law school classes. Students interested in joining the Moot Court Board should review the Board Member Selection Process.

The Board has two primary goals:

  1. Assisting the law student with developing superior advocacy skills by providing venues for competition, and
  2. Creating a national reputation through strong representation in regional and national competitions.

We hope that you will take advantage of the programs we provide for sharpening your oral and written advocacy skills, and take the opportunity to meet professionals from the legal community who generously donate their time to our in-house competitions.

If you have any questions regarding the Board or Moot Court programs at the Seattle University School of Law, please contact the Moot Court Board Chair.
